Most of our Softside Waterbed Mattresses come with a removable and reversible top panel. There are many reasons for this, including:

• Cleanliness: Consider the skin, body oil, hair, dirt, pet dander, etc... that makes its way to your mattress. Our removable, reversible top panel can be completely removed and cleaned by itself.
• Replacement: Since the top of a mattress gets most of the wear and tear, if anything happens to it, you have to replace the whole bed. If the top is removable, you can just replace it if it gets torn, stained, or otherwise damaged.
• Longevity: The ability to remove the top panel is one thing, but because it is reversible, you can sleep on both sides. The zipper works both ways. Rotating the top panel creates even wear and greatly extends the life of your mattress.
